Sixth-Grade Specials Electives

Specials Electives

Pine Grove Special's Teachers are offering Electives Courses for 6th grade students!

As the Pine Grove Specials Team, we are thrilled to offer "6th grade electives" not only to give your child more choice in what he/she wants to study in Art, Music, PE and Technology, but also to provide him/her a glimpse at what electives are like in middle school and high school.   Specials teachers survey 5th graders at the end of the year and use the survey to customize their electives for the following year.  All 6th grade students will still rotate through Art, Music, PE and Technology, but will do so every four weeks and will get to have a level of choice for a more intensive unit of study. Each Special's Teacher is offering four different four week long intensive courses per semester. These courses are intended to take the student more in depth in an area of particular interest.
